When your mom friends surprise you with the playgroup you've always wanted, but wait...this is no ordinary playdate. You've been bombarded by a group of Crazies!
Leah joins a playgroup with baby #3. Lead by Ms. Barbara, Ph.T: Playgroup Helper & Therapist, the moms and one work at home dad are in constant competition. As competitive as they seem they keep returning. Maybe for unity, maybe for their kids to play, or maybe for the shirtless, male model, that serves wine at the end of every session.
Leah joins a playgroup with baby #3. The competitive group is lead by Ms. Barbara, who's convinced she’s their therapist, and Leah, is her newest study. Leah journey’s through several weeks with these parents to learn at the end that there’s no one right way to raise kids and that it truly takes a village…but can she really handle this particular village?
Tiffany and Sinnomin found Leah a playgroup, “surprise!” Cayenne is a hippie, Jessica has a temper, Rob is a perv, and Ms. Barbara seems to think Leah needs to be “diagnosed." Jessica breastfeeds her son in front of everyone, he’s fifteen, that's it, Leah's done, but then in walks Allessandro, dressed like a chippendale, with a tray of wine. Ok, she'll stay, but just this once.
Before Leah can express she doesn’t want to host another playdate, in walks Ben, the work from home dad. He’s cute, has a baby, and just got off a meeting. Leah can’t help but be a little impressed. As she starts to talk about what a failure it was when she tried to work from home with kids, Ben breastfeeds his baby. Allessandro couldn’t arrive with the wine soon enough.
Everyone brought their chore charts. Jessica introduces her elaborate chore chart. Tiffany brings out her technically advanced chore chart. Then Leah brings out her's. Yikes! Since Jessica is losing the chore chart battle she remembers to show off her language learning bags to prove she's on top of the education thing, or is she?
Sinnomin is potty training her daughter Spice. Ms. Barbara has everyone share how they potty trained. Jessica is quickly offended by Leah and Ben’s use of candy to potty train their kids. When Cayenne describes her method of potty training “naked in the backyard” Rob is once again distracted, until Jessica explains her “potty party.”
Ms. Barbara presents Leah with a certificate. To induct Leah into their “tribe” Ms. Barbara starts the game, “lesson or confession.” Cayenne confesses, Jakey’s 15, and she’s ready to ween. Rob offers to help and gives her his card. Tiffany can’t hold back, confession — she has five Rosetta Stones. It’s Leah’s turn. She makes a heartfelt speech, but is anyone even listening?
