Season 1 - Ben Beckley and Alex Aldin are learning to navigate life after leaving psychiatric treatment for schizophrenia and major depressive disorder. Their fresh friendship anchors them to a common goal as they try to find a deeper meaning in their new lives. Ben struggles in her relationship with her girlfriend, Reagan, a high-strung residential treatment counselor.
Ben and Alex meet up in music therapy. Music therapy is fine in theory, but the teacher has some funny ideas about what you should be singing in the loony bin. Maybe it's cool though.
Ben gets out of the hospital and has a heart to heart with her girlfriend Reagan. Reagan also meets Ben's friend Clarice.... Fresh air never felt so good.
