Four part series of one man's adventure into South America. The perfect unorthodox travel guide.
Shot over 5 months, the film is set in Brazil, Uruguay, Argentina and Chile. Adventures include pathfinding in mountainous jungle, getting lost in giant cities, driving precarious desert roads, drinking too much, boating around islands, falling asleep on pristine beaches, eating mysterious fruit, butchering languages, coming to terms with cultural norms and meeting many colourful characters along the way.

Salir - Part 1
It all begins with a one-way ticket. London to São Paulo...
In this episode I arrive in the continent for the first time (which is immediately obvious by how clueless I am) and begin to unravel/struggle with the culture, language, music, geography, food and the realization that I will never be able to dance Samba.
In PART 1 you will get to know the monster city of São Paulo, the tropical paradise of Ilha Grande, the giant waterfalls of Foz do Iguaçu, the beach life in Florianópolis and everything in between.
Prepare yourself a Caipirinha and settle in...

Salir - Part 3
We begin part 3, waiting for someone to pick me up on the side of the road in Puerto Natales. I'm going north.
The third installment of this little story we explore Patagonia in all its beauty. I find a companion for this leg of the journey and we get familiar with the type of equipment and supplies needed for trekking, get to learn the geography and tackle not one but two 4-day treks around two prolific mountains. One of them with an added extra of a kayak trip, which may or may not go so well...
Make sure you've packed a tent and sleeping bag, its gonna get cold...
The third installment of this little story we explore Patagonia in all its beauty. Salir - Part 4
Like all good things, this too, must come to an end.
The fourth and final part will begin with my exiting of the famed land that is Patagonia, along with a farewell to a travel companion. Fear not, as I run into a new one to accompany me into the polar opposite part of Argentina. The scorching hot, red earth, mars-like terrain of the north. We rent a car completely unsuitable for the geography and travel through cities like Salta and Jujuy, as well as finding ourselves smack bang in the middle of the biggest party of South America. Carnaval.
Get those coca leaves into your mouth, we're going to be driving up to the clouds...
